Easter Eggs

This will be the first year that Easter falls on S's birthday. Her birthday is always during spring break but this year we got a double whammy with Easter and Spring Break. These events complicate the timing for a birthday party but we will make it work. Of course, we are having a puppy themed party this year.

I will finish at least one of these cute little knit Easter eggs for each of my kids.

15 hours...now 12 hours

School has been going well except for "Kinesiology and Biomechanics." The teacher is a graduate student and the class shows that he is a better researcher than a teacher. He is unorganized, confusing, and never prepared for class. I have been complaining about him, to my classmates, since the beginning.

Over the weekend I decided to stop complaining and do something about it. First, I dropped the class (I'm still full time with 12 hours) and now I'm filing a complain with the university.

Now I have time to workout every morning after I drop the kid's off at school. It's a win-win for me.

Girl Scout Cookies

Arghhh! A week without a post, shame on me. As an apology I offer you Girl Scout Cookies. That's right, if you ordered cookies, they are in and on there way to you. Most people will be able to pick them up at Twist on Thursday or Saturday this week. Caramel DeLight, yum!

Adagio Tea

Adagio is my favorite place to buy tea. They have so many delicious favorites and deliver extra quick. This time I got 4oz of Vanilla and 2oz of Caramel, plus as a special treat, they threw in 2oz of Valentine flavor. I also got these cool sugar crystals, they are like rock candy for tea.

I was excited to see that you can make custom blends. If you love chocolate, vanilla, and caramel you can have them all in one cup.

Crochet Hearts

Another reason I should learn to crochet. These Crochet Heart are so cute.

The Baby Snugs are done. I was surprised at how much they shrunk. I added a coffee cup to give you a better idea of the size.

Upcoming Knits

I have chosen my next 2 knitting projects and they are both from the Spring Interweave Knits.

First, is Aleita Shell , I purchased Classic Elite Wool Bam Boo in color Blue Bay.

Second, is Hexacomb Cardigan, in Rowan Pure Wool DK in Quarry and Enamel.

But before I can start these projects I must complete D's OBEY scarf. That thing is giant but I only have about a foot left.

Little Snugs

I'm working on these Little Snugs as a sample for the shop. I still have to put on the little embroidered circles and felt them.
