So many people I know are going to be having babies this year. I am looking a cute, easy pattern that I can knit on short notice. These Saartje's bootees are cute but I don't like having to weave in so many ends. I just need to find the perfect buttons for this pair.

I had the same experience with bootees - quick and cute but too many loose ends! They are adorable, and I love the color combo.
